Tom Russell has over 20 years of experience as a firearms instructor having trained under and then instructed with Colonel Jeff Cooper and received his Master Firearms Instructor rating from Colonel Cooper in 2000. In 2006, Colonel Cooper identified Tom as a Doctor of Practical Marksmanship.

Tom has faced potential and actual deadly force situations on the street and in the game field.  He dealt with those problems quickly and efficiently and states, “The goal is to end the fight before your assailant realizes he has jumped on a wolf and not a mouse.”

Tom is also a Christian Gospel Preacher. He and his wife Liz have been happily married for thirty years and have four children and one grandson.
